Picture of EPIC ALUMINUM HUB NARROW COURT CASTER The EPIC Aluminum Hub Narrow Court Caster is a wheelchair caster wheel designed for use by people with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury on sports wheelchairs. This wheel has a durable, hard-rolling 1-inch narrow tread designed for court and other sport activities. The urethane tread is spun-cast from virgin base chemicals. Like a super ball, the tread bounces back when compressed to minimize energy loss and absorb vibration. The solid urethane does not absorb water so it does not track moisture. The high resilience material prevents sound when rolling on tile. The 3-spoke aluminum hub is machine-lathed and bright-dip anodized to prevent scratching. DIMENSIONS: Available with diameter of 3, 4, 5, or 6 inches. Width is 1 inche. CAPACITY: 500 pounds. WEIGHT: With bearings, 0.17 puounds (3 inch diameter), 0.18 pounds (4 inch diameter), 0.22 pounds (5 inch diameter), 0.32 pounds (6 inch diameter). Hub on 4 inch diameter wheel is 68 grams. COLOR: Hub is available in a variety of colors. Tread is black.
