Picture of JRA The JRA is a shoe insert designed for use by individuals with juvenile idiopathic (rheumatoid) arthritis. This shoe insert provides contoured plantar support with pressure relief along the metatarsal heads. It is constructed with three layers of foam (PORON foam, Plastazote, and dense EVA foam) that provide a sandwich of foams for the top surface and a substructure that gives support to the hindfoot and stops behind the metatarsal heads to provide a drop off for this area. Inserts are pre-fabricated in a range of sizes, and can be custom manufactured for a foot that is not on the chart, either in size or shape.

Notes: PORON and Plastazote are registered trademarks.
