Picture of TECLA SHIELD FOR IPHONE & IPAD The Tecla Shield for iPhone & iPad is a control switch input interface designed for people with fine motor control or upper extremity disabilities. The system allows a person to use adapted switches or the driving controls of their powered wheelchair to control remotely an Apple iPhone or iPad. The switches or driving controls connect to the system using the included cables through the device’s six ports. The ports include 2 3.5-millimeter mono sockets, a D-Sub 9-pin male connector ECU port, a USB Type B port, and a 2.1-millimeter center-positive barrel socket (6-12 Volt). The system connects via Bluetooth to an Apple iPhone or iPad. The system transmits switch events wirelessly up to 100 meters in range and transmits both switch press and release events to the iPhone or iPad. There is no delay in switch event transmission, and the system comes with built-in switch noise filtering. ACCESSORIES: 4-Way Joystick, ECU to Multiple Switch Input Adapter, USB Cable, Battery Pack, Dual-Lock Fastener, Tecla Shield Mount, Gorilla Pod, and Tecla Phone Mount. DIMENSIONS (LxWxH): 3.25 x 3 x 1.75 inches. WEIGHT: 150 grams. WARRANTY: 1-year limited warranty.
