Picture of WHEELCHAIR GLIDER The Wheelchair Glider is a rocking or glider platform for a manual wheelchair that is designed for use by individuals with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury and others who use a wheelchair. A person in a wheelchair rolls onto the platform using it spring-loaded ramp system, and he or she is able to glide (move horizontally forward and backward) by holding onto handles on each side of the plat form and pushing or pulling. If the user does not have use of his or her arms or hands, an attendant can push the occupied wheelchair onto the glider platform and push the wheelchair to initiate gliding. The Wheelchair Glider has an aluminum alloy frame with a non-corrosive powder coat finish, and it comes fully assembled and ready to use with minimal set-up. It has heavy-duty safety straps to attach the wheelchair to the platform, and the glider platform locks into place for loading and unloading. The platform can be adjusted to fit a variety of wheelchair sizes, and the handles can be adjusted. SIZES: Child, Standard or Bariatric. COLOR: White (other colors are optional). WARRANTY: 30-day money back guarantee; 1-year limited warranty on parts and labor.
