Picture of TRAVEL CHESS SET FOR THE BLIND OR THOSE WITH LOW VISION (MODEL 292010) The Travel Chess Set for the Blind or Those with Low Vision, model 292010, is a tactile board game designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. The chess set includes a folding board with 64 alternating black and white squares, and 32 black and white chess pieces, 16 of each color, including rooks, knights (horses), bishops, king, queen, and pawns. White pieces have bumps on top so the two colors can be distinguished tactually. When the board is opened fully the black spaces are slightly raised over the white spaces. All spaces have peg holes to hold the game pieces in place. DIMENSIONS LxW): Board is 8.875 x 4.25 inches folded; 8.875 x 8.875 inches opened. COLOR: Black and white.
