Picture of SOLORIDER 3400 The SoloRider 3400 is an adapted golf cart and personal electric vehicle designed for use by individuals with walking or balance disabilities, arthritis or limited stamina. This single rider golf car allows the user to play golf without getting out of the cart. When the user approaches a golf ball, he or she can position the vehicle, put it in “park,” and then rotate the seat and hit the ball while seated. The frame/chassis is made of tubular steel with powder-coated finish and has a 7-inch ground clearance, and the body is made of ABS/DR acrylic molded-in-color plastic. This cart is available with bi-lateral ergonomic left, right, or both hand controls for steering, acceleration and braking. It also has a custom designed suspension with four-corner coil-over shocks, individually activated left/right hydraulic drum brakes, a console-mounted diagnostic display, and various seat and chest belt combinations. The drive train has a 12.4:1 direct drive axle with double reduction helical gear and a 36-Volt, 200-amp, 4 quadrant regenerative controller. The vehicle features a 230-degree swivelling seat with electric stand-up mechanism and a 36-Volt, shunt wound motor. The golf bag holder can be attached in the front of the cart. OPTIONS: Retractable sun canopy and Light Kit (headlights, taillights, turn signals, flashing hazards, and mirrors). POWER: Uses 3 12-Volt, 180 amp-hour EV145 deep cycle industrial rechargeable batteries. An automatic, 20-amp charger is included. DIMENSIONS (LxWxH): 84 x 38 x 44 inches. The wheel base is 53.5 inches. WHEELS: Uses four wheels with 4-ply rated ribbed tread front tires and 4-ply rated turf tread rear tires (diameter x width) 18 x (8.5 or 8) inches. SPEED: Maximum forward speed is 13 miles per hour (mph). CAPACITY: 350 pounds. WEIGHT: 498 pounds without batteries or 759 pounds with batteries. COLOR: White, beige, or green. WARRANTY: 5-year warranty on parts and labor for the frame/chassis; 3-year warranty on parts and labor for the drive train; and 1-year warranty on parts and labor for all remaining components.
