  • Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability

    The Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD) Project is a technical cooperation project between Japan and Thailand, that started in Bangkok in August 2002. The overall goal of the project is to promote the empowerment of people with disabilities and a barrier-free society in developing countries in Asia and the Pacific Islands.

  • Baan Khun Daeng: Wheelchair Accessible Holiday in Thailand

    "Baan Khun Daeng" offers people with a physical disability an accessible place to stay in northern Thailand. "Khun Daeng" (The Thai nick-name of Karsten Blokker) is a wheelchair user himself who has lived in Thailand since 1995 and speaks the Thai language. He has extensive experience and knowledge regarding the organization of nice/interesting trip and activities that can be enjoyed by wheelchair users.

  • Jade Garden Resort

    The Jade Garden is a beach resort in Thailand that was specifically designed for people with disabilities. The entire resort is completely accessible and designed in such a way as to disguise the necessary functional aspects of living with a disability while giving an overall appearance of a true tropical paradise.
