Study conducted to assess the psychometric properties of the Catherine Bergego Scale (CBS), which is a clinical assessment of spacial neglect following stroke based on direct observation of a client’s functioning in real live situations, including grooming, dressing, or wheelchair driving. The inner structure of the scale was studied by principal component analysis, while linearity, unidimensionality, and reliability of the scale were tested through Rasch analysis. Results indicated that the CBS was reliable and valid, and that the items tested define a homogenous construct.
