Article discusses the practices utilized by hearing professionals regarding the modern digital hearing instrument, which is described as the most advanced and sophisticated device ever invented for the facilitation of human communication for people with hearing disabilities. The modern capabilities of digital and WDRC multiband hearing instruments can only be realized by hearing professionals’ expertise in the technology. Professionals’ expertise can only be developed when he or she begins to work towards a vision of perfection. Suggestions for professionals regarding their own education in the field are included.
