By Hayes, Donald, PhD; Hearing Review, Vol. 11, No. 10, pp. 40-44
Publication Date: September 2004

Article discusses how multiple adaptive features can help to deliver desired hearing aid performance in a wide range of situations without required constant adjustment on the user’s part. For example, the Liaison hearing aid from Unitron Hearing provides Dynamic SoundScene processing. Dynamic SoundScene provides a fully automatic solution for user’s by utilizing the five adaptive features: (1) Adaptive Beamformer, (2) Auditory Contrast Control, (3) Intelligent Noise Reduction 2.0, (4) Realtime Feedback Canceller, and (5) Wind Noise Manager. The integration of these adaptive features is designed to provide the user with a flexible device that maintains optimal performance without numerous instances of user adjustment.
