Article discusses the National Junior Wheelchair Championships, which took place on the Connecticut College Campus in New London, Connecticut in June 2002. Over 240 athletes across five age groups participated in events such as weightlifting, track and field, table tennis, swimming, and archery. The event was part of the National Sports Festival, which also hosts the junior athletes of the National Disability Sports Alliance, which is formerly the United States Cerebral Palsy Athletic Association. A detailed description of each event is provided.
