Aspiring for More

By Sports 'N Spokes, Vol. 29, No. 2, p. 52
Publication Date: March 2003

Article discusses Project Adapted Sports Programs in Recreation and Education (ASPIRE), which aims to promote amateur adapted athletics for over 1 million American children. Project ASPIRE hopes to accomplish this by making educational, informational, and sports equipment resources available to school districts and to sports and educational professionals. Adapted sports equipment will be provided by FlagHouse, which will enable teachers and coaches to take part in hands-on instruction of adapted athletics in the classroom, in the gym, or on the field.
