UltraOptix Bookmark Magnifier

By Caviness, Rochelle; Large Print Reviews,
Publication Date: June 2001

Article reviews the UltraOptix Bookmark Magnifier, which is a 6.25- by 2.25-inch plastic, flexible magnifier designed to magnify the entire width of the page of a normal book. The device has inch measurements on one edge and metric measurements along the other, and comes with a small tassel on top that makes it easily visible when used as a bookmark. The magnifier is very thin, and easily fits between the pages of a book. The author contends that the magnification is not clear enough for her to use it to read an entire book, yet it could be useful for reading footnotes or cookbooks.
