By Dunham, Jennifer; Future Reflections, Vol. 24, No. 1Publication Date: Winter/Spring 2005
Article in which the author discusses her use of the BrailleNote, which is a Braille notetaker from Pulse Data HumanWare. The author’s favorite use of the BrailleNote is to download books from Bookshare.org and from the National Library Service’s WebBraille. She uses her BrailleNote to read books on buses, planes, and car rides, and she uses it to take notes, read, and study for her history class. The device has also added to her job versatility, as she can proofread foreign language material when she is coordinating alternate formats at the University of Minnesota.
