By Koester, Heidi Horstmann Levine, Simon P. Rehabilitation Engineering Program and Graduate Bioengineering Program, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI; Proceedings of the RESNA '94 Annual Conference, Vol. 14
(Pages: 118-120) Publication Date: 1994

This paper discusses a study to determine the cost in time and cognitive load involved in the processes required to use a word prediction system. The document includes an overview of the methods, experimental design, training, data collection, dependent measures, and statistical analyses involved in the study. It also discusses the differences in selection time and list search time between the various user groups and the issues presented for users.
