Powerboating

The articles discusses ways to adapt the sport of powerboating to be accessible and enjoyable for people with disabilities. There is discussion about wheelchair seats versus boat seats; an effective way to board the boat; hand controls for operators; things to look for on standard boats, such as accessibility of controls, engine tilt, and a remote-control anchoring system; plus selection guidelines for a specialized ski boat for sit skiing. The article provides color photographs of accessible boat interiors.
