A Ranger Saddles Up

The article describes the job responsibilities and career of Erin Broadbent, who is the National Park Service site manager of the Washington National Mall and also a quadriplegic. There is also a description of the go-cart which fellow employees adapted for Broadbent's use on the Mall, that is unobtrusive and equipped with hand controls, safety bars, storage area, and a wheelchair loader. There are photographs of Broadbent operating various components of the go-cart, and an address for Mall Operations of the U.S. Park Service for additional information about the cart.
