The program also comes with parent briefs, so that educators can help parents understand the various teaching strategies employed. Alphabet Fun for Language and Literacy can be used to plan a teacher's alphabet instruction curriculum for the entire year. The CD-ROM includes flash cards, alphabet strip posters, an alphabet book, projects, and language development activities. Language development activities include: following directions, sequencing, writing, reasoning, and describing. PixWriter, which is a voice output word processor software program for beginning or struggling writers, has been upgraded to include single-switch scanning and Windows compatibility. This software is meant for use for persons of any age who have learning disabilities, speech/language delays, cognitive delays, or physical impairments.
