Talking Word Processor

Article describing the Talking Word Processor from Premier Programming Solutions, which was designed to help people with reading and writing difficulties. The Talking Word Processor has common features, including tables, bullets, formatting, and spell checker. Different formats, such as HTML, standard ASCII, and Rich Text Format can be opened in the program, and a word tracking feature highlights each word as the program speaks it. Other capabilities are available, such as word pause, word repeat, and word magnify. Medical and standard dictionary programs are included, and the program comes with 24 different voices. Additional voices can be purchased or downloaded from the Internet.
