Download Updates for MAGic, OpenBook, and JAWS for Windows

Article discussing upgrades to three Freedom Scientific products, which include MAGic 8.01 Screen Magnification with Speech, Openbook 6.01 Scanning and Reading, and JAWS 4.51. MAGic 8.01's upgrade features the ability to network across Windows platforms, disable screen savers, and navigate more effectively with a mouse. OpenBook 6.01 features changes in language, navigation, settings, and support. The user will be able to turn punctuation on or off and read smaller fonts. The first version of JAWS to feature DCM technology was introduced with these upgrades. This product provides a method of interfacing with computer video information to gather data. The public beta version features new functionality and bug fixes that improve the ability to navigate the Internet and control the information read by the JAWS screen reader.
