Pulse Data and Benetech Announce BrailleNote/Bookshare.org Collaboration

Article discussing a collaboration involving Pulse Data's BrailleNote and Benetech's Bookshare.org. Bookshare.org is a subscription service that provides an on-line library of accessible digital books to U.S. residents with severe visual, reading, and mobility disabilities. BrailleNote is the first suite of Personal Data Assistants designed for people who are blind or have low vision. This collaboration allows BrailleNote users with a subscription to Bookshare.org to browse the Bookshare.org web site using the BrailleNote, select one of the 12 thousand books available to the site, and download it to the device.
