A Computer and Internet Future: Enabling Inclusion?

Article focuses on the impact of computers and the Internet on people with learning disabilities in Great Britain. Computers and the accessibility of the Internet play an important role in the lives of people with disabilities in that they are provided with an innovative new medium for learning. The difficulties faced by people with learning disabilities in using modern technology are also discussed. A list of websites designed to promote accessibility and information sharing for people with learning disabilities and professionals are included.
