Oticon Introduces Epoq V: Three Versions of Epoq With Three Price Points

Article on Epoq V, a moderately-priced hearing product added to the Epoq line which also includes premium Epoq XW and mid-priced Epoq W. Like its other versions, Epoq V connects wirelessly to Bluetooth-enabled communication and entertainment devices including landline and cell phones, radios, MP3 players, personal computers and laptops. The product also offers a wireless system for TV sound that sends an audio signal directly through the Epoq Streamer, enabling users to listen to TV at a volume that is comfortable while also engaging in conversation. The high-end Epoq XW uses binaural wireless processing enabling a pair of Epoq hearing instruments to work as one central processing unit to support the brain’s proper interpretation of various sounds in the environment, providing a 360-degree hearing experience. The Epoq reportedly earned a 90 percent satisfaction rating in studies conducted with 34 hearing professionals and 134 users.
