Kid-Friendly Deep Pressure Therapy Clothing

By Rehab Management: Rehab Today,
Publication Date: March 21, 2011

Article describes compression garments designed for children. Giant Leaps compression garments are used in therapy and provide deep pressure support to children with a variety of physical, emotional, and social challenges. The clothing does not restrict movement and can be worn under street clothes as well as on its own. It is made of four way stretch nylon and spandex tricot that is machine washable. The nylon and spandex blend allows the garments to retain their shape, making them effective at providing neurological proprioceptive sensory feedback.
