The ZoomText Keyboard

By Famiglietti, Steven; Matilda Ziegler Magazine for the Blind,
Publication Date: February 28, 2011

Article describes the ZoomText keyboard for computer users with low vision. The keyboard contains sixteen buttons, running horizontally across its top, which are used specifically for performing ZoomText functions. The keyboard must be used with software that comes with it. This software enables the ZoomText buttons along the top of the keyboard to function. In addition, ZoomText version 9.04 or later must be run in order for the keyboard and its software to work correctly. Two versions of the keyboard are available: yellow keys with black letters, or black keys with yellow letters. The letters of the keys are presented in bold print, making it easy to locate them. The keyboard comes with a large print book which explains in detail each key and its function.
