Consists of lightweight wireless silver dollar size pendant worn on a chain around the neck, a main console plugged into user's phone system, and a central staff operated, computer aided support station. When pendant is pressed, the central station will notify designated people. Medical and personal information is stored in the computer at the station in case of need. Additional check in feature requires user to press console button at preset times. If button is not pushed, console rings a warning buzzer for 10 minutes. If user fails to respond, console sends signal to the central station which then notifies designated people. Operates on household current; 60 hour emergency battery operates during power failure. Includes delivery, installation and instructions by service personnel.
