Picture of HANDIRAMP WHEELCHAIR PORCH LIFT (MODELS HPL-50 & HPL-72) The HandiRamp Wheelchair Porch Lift is an extrerior wheelchair lift designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. This porch lift uses a gear box and chain system to raise and lower wheelchairs or scooters. The drive system operates in all weather conditions, from minus 30 degrees to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. With a key-operated, constant-pressure switch, the rider can start, stop, and change directions at any point. The electrical system is placed well above ground and sealed against moisture, and the porch lift is finished with a powder-coated finish to help protect it against the elements. Safety features include a non-slip platform, constant pressure switches, a low platform for easy roll-on/roll-off, safety barrier and railing, and rolled edges. POWER: Uses standard household current. DIMENSIONS: The maximum lift height is either 50 inches (model HPL-50) or 72 inches (model HPL-72). CAPACITY: 600 pounds.
