--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 03/93) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Comm-Prog is a direct selection communication program that allows the user to communicate by selecting words and phrases from menus on the screen with single keystrokes. The user presses the first letter of the desired word, and a menu of nine words appears on the screen. The user may either select one of those words with a single keystroke or press the initial letter again to call up the next list of words beginning with that letter. Provision is made to type in letter-by-letter words which are not in the programmed vocabulary. Comm-Prog costs $25.00 for institutions, but is also shipped free with the purchase of the Pressure Sensitive Expanded Keyboard (see entry, Cacti Computer Services). COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple II, Commodore, and IBM PC or compatible computers.
