Picture of SERVOX INTON The SERVOX Inton is a laryngectomy speech amplifier for people who have had a laryngectomy. When placed against the user's throat, the device generates ultrasonic vibrations and transmits them over a membrane into the pharynx, mouth and nose area. A clear and intelligible voice emerges through the natural speech movements. The Inton's dual buttons allow more flexibility in pitch, volume and intonation. The SERVOX Inton features stainless steel construction, soft-touch buttons, a rotating wheel for volume control, and masculine/feminine intonation capability. A holster-style storage bag and instructions are included POWER: Rechargeable nickel metal hydride (NiMH) battery (included) with dual, automatic charger; 110- and 220-volt versions of the charger are available. OPTIONS: Extra batteries, replacement cords, oral connectors with replacement tubes are available separately. WARRANTY: Limited 2-year warranty.
