Micro Speech Lab Pack is a hardware/software package designed for the capture and in-depth analysis of speech or other signals on the IBM AT or XT. Signal input, waveform display, audio output, analysis and file management can be performed. The program allows the user to splice a sound sample in both visual and auditory mode and to condition the signal segment to required specifications. The following parameters are user specifiable: sampling rate of up to 20,000 per second, or 25,000 with an IBM AT; segment duration of up to 64,000 sample points; a quantizing rate of 8- or 10- bit; and simultaneous pitch and amplitude display. Each Micro Speech Lab package contains a data acquisition board, hardware, software, microphones, headphones, and documentation. Additional modules are included. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM PC AT and XT computers.
