Spotlight on Reading & Listening Comprehension Level 1 Interactive Software, model N61-9-WS, is a reading tutorial program designed for use by students with learning disabilities. The program includes over 60 narrated stories at reading levels from 2.0 to 4.9, with 480 multiple-choice questions. Students listen to and read aloud with each story and its follow-up questions and answers. Narrated audio can be turned on and off at any time. Each story screen includes a full-color picture to help visual learners attach meaning to the text. Users can review the text of the story as they answer comprehension questions. Progress grids (one for each skill area) allow the teacher to see student progress, print results, and select any individual story in the program for a student to attempt. The program comes on a CD-ROM with an instruction booklet. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible or Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: IBM and compatible computers require Windows 98SE, 2000, XP, or Vista operating system. Macintosh computers require OSX 10.2.6 or higher. Both computer types require 256 megabytes (MB) memory; 24x CD-ROM drive; 250 MB of hard drive space; 1024 x 768 screen resolution; and sound card.
