Pictalk is a pre-reading tutorial program, a direct selection communicator and a control switch training program designed as a pre-primer for an alternative communication device for non-readers who have severe physical disabilities. The program includes a fifty-four picture vocabulary in six categories (places, things, people, action, foods, and feelings). Selection is made by scanning rows and then columns within a selected row using a single switch or the keyboard. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: An Echo speech synthesizer, a color monitor, and a single switch or keyboard are required. WARRANTY: Faulty disks will be replaced within 6 months of the purchase date.

Notes: The manufacturer offers a back-up disk, available at the time of purchase ($6). ** Technical support is available from the manufacturer.
