« Previous Product Next Product »Mobile Keypad is an e-mail program designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This program allows the user to write and send e-mail on a cell phone using a computer keyboard. This software application works with Mobile Speak and Mobile Magnifier cell phone access programs (see separate entries). It allows the user to control the phone and type SMS messages and e-mails from a desktop keyboard. The program is installed on both the cell phone and the desktop computer, which communicate via a Bluetooth connection. Anything typed on the program's desktop window is automatically sent to the cell phone. While the computer communicates with the cell phone, Mobile Speak continues to work, thus providing speech output. The program also provides access from the desktop keyboard to Mobile Speak's function keys, as well as the phone's special keys, such as the arrows, dial and hang up keys, and menu key. Supported cell phones include the Nokia 3650, Nokia 3660, Nokia 6260, Nokia 6600, Nokia 6620, Nokia 6670, Nokia 7610, Nokia 7650, Nokia N70, Nokia N-Gage, Nokia N-Gage QD, Siemens SX-1, Panasonic X700, and Panasonic X701.
