The Looking Good Language Kit, model LK-LG, is a personal skills and language tutorial program designed for use by children with cognitive or communication disabilities. All activities in this unit address grooming concepts. This kit includes a book written with limited vocabulary and repetitive lines using Mayer-Johnson Picture Communication Symbols (Boardmaker), and an interactive computer book, created with Classroom Suite by IntelliTools, that combines text, pictures, speech and sound. Both the Boardmaker book and the Classroom Suite story can be customized for younger or older students. The kit also includes a songboard, word cards, and vocabulary games. A grooming survey provides practice with counting and graphing skills.
