Picture of BABEETENDA CONVERTING CRIB The BabeeTenda Converting Crib is designed to convert from a Baby Crib to a Toddler Crib to a Youth Bed and finally to a Junior Bed. It is made of hardwood on a steel frame with end panels covered in mar-proof laminate. There are plastic teething rails all the way around and the bed is mounted on 2-inch casters for mobility. The mattress is made of firm high-density non-allergenic foam. The sides have hardwood slats, glued and pinned with steel 2 3/8 inches apart. Both sides can be lowered by releasing two double action locks. An adult can easily do this but a baby cannot. One side of the crib has a toddler gate that lets the child get in and out of bed safely without climbing over the top. This feature is also useful for parents who are in a wheelchair, preventing them from reaching over the top of a normal crib. Instead, they can use the side entry gate for access.
