The Palumbo Patella Stabilizing Brace is a knee orthosis designed to create a dynamic, medially displacing force to the patella, allow functional activity while providing stability throught the full range of knee motion. Manufacturer suggests this brace can aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patellar instability and patellofemoral pain, permit delay or avoidance of surgery, prevents subluxation and dislocation of the patella, reduces patellofemoral chondromalacia and arthritis by dissipation of forces, and can be used in post-operative management to prevent contracture of the lateral retinaculum. The brace is available in an Elastic or 1/8-inch Neoprene sleeve; both have a patellar cutout and straps that run around the back of the knee and attach in front with Velcro. SIZES: 7 sizes from Extra Small to Extra Extra Large. Fits right or left knee. COLOR: Neoprene comes in tan or blue; elastic is available in tan only.
