The Dale Abdominal Binder is used for abdominal muscle support following abdominal surgery or childbirth. The binder encourages post-op and post partum patients to cough, breathe deeply, and use full muscle movement. Helps reduce the possiblity of sedentary complications such atelectasis, pneumonia, and phlebitis. The binder may also be used when drainage tubes are present, by cutting tube holes in binder or by padding site with sponges before applying the binder. The binder construction is of woven stretch panels that are joined by interlocking stitches, Velcro closure that permit adjustability and easy application. The inside is lined with Helanca, an absorbent and hypoallergenic fabric. The binder is washable and reusable. DIMENSIONS: Available in 3 or 4 panel widths in regular and large sizes to fit patients of any size.
