Next Product »The ADEPTs are body powered terminal devices for a prosthetic arm. Model F III is designed for infants age 6 months to 4 years; model C II for children from 4 to 8/9 years; and model B I for children 9/10 years through adult. The devices utilizes a natural opposed thumb and forefinger design (prehensile) and allows the user to grip with as much or as little force as necessary for a particular activity. The grips are made of aircraft grade aluminum and tempered steel or reinforced plastic support cores with a stain resistant, molded polyurethane coating. DIMENSIONS: Model B I is 4.24 inches long x 1.17 inches wide with a maximum wrist diameter of 1.48 inches and an opening of 2.46 inches. Model C II is 3.5 x 1.08 inches with a wrist diameter of 1.30 inches and an opening of 2 inches. Model F III is 2.69 x .97 inches with a wrist diameter of 1.08 inches and an opening of 1.26 inches. WEIGHT: 4.9 ounces (B I), 3.3 ounces (C II), and 1.7 ounces (F III). COLOR: Tan or dark complexion.
