The Aerogarden uses aeroponics, creating a controlled environmental chamber in which plant roots grow in humid, rainforest-like air instead of soil. The user drops in the dirt-free, pre-seeded Bio-Dome pods, and adds water and nutrient tablets. The system features a built-in plant lighting system and a computerized timer that indicates exactly when to add water and nutrients, then automatically adjusts nutrient delivery and water flow and turns the lights on and off. The system includes includes seven Gourmet Herb Seed Pods and nutrient tablets. OPTIONS: Additional seed and growing options include customizable salad seed kits, customizable flower seed kits, customizable herb flower seed kits, grow anything kits, and Norway pine kits.
