(Verified 1/98) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The 14 Inch Tilt-In-Space & 16 Inch Tilt-In-Space Systems are pediatric positionng chairs designed to aid children with physical disabilities. Both models feature 35 degrees of tilt as well as back incline and recline. With adjustable arms, seat depths, footrest and support blocks, these support aids are designed to accomodate a variety of growing needs. The standard features of these models include back and seat pad; four support blocks (additional supports are available); an abduction block; seat belt; wooden tray; sandals; adjustable armrests; removable headrest; and, a maple base with wheels for manuverability. A calf angle adjustment is also featured, angling at the knees from 90 to 0 degrees. These models are additionally available in either low or high back styles. Back and seat pads are covered in stain resistant vinyl and all pads unsnap for cleaning. OPTIONS: Additiona wood tray, clear tray, additional pads and blocks, and support wings. DIMENSIONS: Model 5014: The seat height adjusts from 9.5 to 14 inches, the arm height is 16 inches above the floor, the back is 15 inches high, and the seat to footrest distance can be adjusted from 6.5 to 12 inches. The seat is 12.5 inches wide and adjusts from 9 to 14 inches deep. The use of support blocks allows seat width adjustment from 6.5 to 12.5 inches. Model 5016: The seat height adjusts from 13 to 16 inches, the arm height is 21 inches above the floor, the back is 19 inches high, and the seat to footrest distance can be adjusted from 8 to 15.5 inches. The seat is 15 inches wide and adjusts from 11 to 16.5 inches deep. The use of support blocks allows seat width adjustment from 8 to 16 inches. COLOR: The chair is natural wood and the pads and blocks are available in teal and burgundy.
