« Previous Product Next Product »Subtle Messages is a sign language training program designed to teach the use of non-manual grammatical markers in American Sign Language. There are four lessons including question forms, conditionals, topicalization, assertion and negation. Each lesson is 20 to 30 minutes long and features hundreds of video examples on the use of non-manual markers. The program complements and enhances other training methods, lets students learn in a private setting at his/her own pace, and provides immediate feedback of progress. The student can interact with each lesson by pausing, stopping, or replaying the video; playing the video at normal or slow motion speeds; and answering questions about ASL. The program comes on three CD-ROM disks. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: 486-66 MHz computer; 8 MB RAM; Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher; double speed CD-ROM drive, SVGA Monitor; sound card (optional).
