The TVDirect Wireless TV Listening Headset, model TV-100, is a infrared amplification system for television designed for use by individuals who are hard of hearing. TV audio output is converted into an infrared light beam for wireless transmission to the receiver. This broadens the area around a TV in which a person can hear the audio portion of the broadcast. Controls allow the user to adjust tone for enhanced dialog clarity and intelligibility. Lightweight, hi-fidelity and passive noise isolation speakers stay in the user's ears. This system can also be used to listen to a movie on a plane, an iPod, and other audio sources. POWER: Uses rechargeable battery with up to 12 hours listening time. OPTIONS: Tele-coil or neck-loop for use with t-coil hearing aids. WARRANTY: One year.
