This kit includes a 120-volt alternating current (AC) smoke alarm (model 41216), a relay module that responds to the smoke alarm (model 499), a strobe light with "FIRE" lettering (model 240), and a wiring instruction sheet.
Notes: Firex is a registered trademark. ** The manufacturer states that the strobe exceeds Underwriters' Laboratory (UL) standard 1971 "Signaling Devices for the Hearing Impaired" and ADA (American Disabilities Act) requirements. ** The manufacturer states this kit is designed for use in the United States only. A separate kit for use in Canada, model 243, containing similar components is also available
