(Verified 11/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Relief Reminder is a timed signal device designed to reduce or eliminate pressure sores and skin grafting by reminding wheelchair users to shift their weight every 15 minutes. The unit has a thin pressure-sensing monitor attached by a 20-inch lead line to a pager-like alarm. The monitor is placed under the seat cushion and is weight activated. It will initiate its beeping alarm after fifteen minutes. To reset, the user must lift up off the cushion, and then return to a seated position. The device comes with a compact case with cushion clip. WEIGHT: 2.6 ounces. WARRANTY: 1-year warranty.
