--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 09/2005) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Scooter-Lift Jr., model ASL-400, is a trunk mounted scooter loader for automobiles. This lift is designed to help 3-wheeled scooter owners lift and store their mobility aids in most auto trunks, station wagons, and hatchbacks with an opening large enough to fit the partially disassembled (seat and tiller removed) scooter and the lift. The lift has a winch-type motor. The lift arm is mounted in the trunk and swings out from the trunk to attach to the scooter with a "docking device" that fits most scooters. To store, the lift arm has a release latch and is lowered into the trunk. Spring and seat assist options are available for this lift. CAPACITY: Maximum lifting capacity is 200 pounds.
