Both models accomplish lifting by means of straps around the user's chest and upper thighs just under the buttocks.The user's feet are placed on the platform of the unit, and caregiver raises the user to a standing position using the device's handle(s) and leaned against a padded support. This sling-free method of lifting provides for ease in toileting, clothing removal, and skin inspection. Both models feature an adjustable wheeled base and a multi-loop strap. Model EP85 also features dual handles, an arm cuff, and molded rubber padding. Model EP105 offers a cut-out chest pad, a deep knee pad, sen vinyl upholstery, and an arm cuff. DIMENSIONS: The wheels on both models are four inches in diameter. The base on model EP85 fits through 26-inch openings and the base on model EP105 fits through 27-inch openings. CAPACITY: Model EP85 accoommodates individuals up to 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. Model EP105 accommodates individuals up to six feet, six inches tall and weighing 280 pounds. WEIGHT: Model EP85 weighs 70 pounds and model EP105 weighs 85 pounds. WARRANTY: The manufacturer offers a 2 year warranty.
