(Verified 05/93) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- A standing table designed to assist children in maintaining standing position while giving them a table top area for work or play activities. Adjusts from 14 inches square to 12 inches square. Platform adjusts from 32 1/2 inches to 21 1/2 inches from the table top. Top is a laminated birch tray 26 inches by 29 inches with a high trim.
Notes: Should be used with consultation of occupational or physical therapist. Standing table has a vertical board on the standing support to encourage proper foot positioning. Minor modification such as wedges between the childs legs may be used if more abduction is required. Similarly minor modifications may be required to maintain direct weight bearing on feet. Some children seem to lean back against the door of the table. A wedge placed behind the child's buttocks may alleviate the problem.
