(Verified 9/2003) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Enduro Encore 1 and 2 are adjustable adult tilt-in-space reclining wheelchairs designed to allow the user to change position without leaving the chair. FRAME: Rigid titanium frame with an optional fold-down back. Push handles and adjustable, kick-up anti-tippers are included. SEAT: The orientation in space is controlled by cable activated struts operated from the push handles. A fully reclining back, angle-adjustable backs, and an I-back are also available on both models. Encore 1 is adjustable in seat width and depth from 13 to 17 inches. Encore 2 is adjustable in seat width and depth from 16 to 20 inches. Back heights up to 24 inches are offered on both models. Seat height from the floor depends upon wheel and caster size and adjustment. CUSHION: Solid seat and back inserts with 1 or .5-nch foam, wedged or roll seats, and an asymmetrical split seat are optional. UPHOLSTERY: Non-abrasive nylon or vinyl upholstery is offered in a choice of colors. ARMRESTS: Cantilevered armrests are standard. Angle-adjustable armrests and quick-release, height-adjustable armrests are optional. BRAKES: Wheel locks are included. CASTERS: A choice of 5, 6, or 8-inch solid-core or 8-inch pneumatic casters with adjustable positions is offered. WHEELS: Axle positions are adjustable. A choice of 20, 22, or 24-inch mag wheels is offered. One-arm drive and quick-release axles are optional. Handrims are optional. FOOTRESTS: 70-degree, swing-away, angle-adjustable footrests are standard. A one-piece detachable footrest and elevating, articulating, or non-swing-away legrests are optional. OPTIONS: lumbar pad, contoured or adjustable headrest, fixed or swingaway lateral trunk supports, flipdown abductor, knee adductor pads, lateral hip guides, chest strap or harness, seatbelt, tray, heel loops, ankle or toe straps, and others.
