--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 4/2002) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --The Iron Horse Horsepower is a folding powered wheelchair designed for outdoor durability and comfort. FRAME: Folding one-inch 18-guage stainless steel tubular frame with double cross brace which locks in place when unfolded. Anti-tips are optional. CONTROLS: Joystick controller. RWD: Rear drive wheels. SEAT: The seat is available in a choice of 16 or 18 inches wide and has a 5-degree seat angle and a 5- degree back angle. The seat depth is 16 inches and the back height is 14.5 inches. Drop-in seats and backs can be mounted to the frame at an extra cost. UPHOLSTERY: Breathable poly sling upholstery is standard. The seat back may be decorated with a logo, design, or personal motif at an extra charge.. ARMRESTS: Swingback armrests with black Lexan garment protectors. CASTERS: Front 8 x 2 inch front casters with spring suspension are standard. WHEELS: The rear wheels have spring suspension, quick release axles, and 26-inch pneumatic tires with a choice of street, mountain, or bush tread. FOOTRESTS: Fixed legrests with folding footrests are standard. POWER: 24-volt battery system. SPEEDS: Up tp eight miles per hour for a range of up to 20 miles depending upon terrain. WARRANTY: Lifetime frame replacement warranty.
