At its fullest extension, Balder reaches 31 inches from the ground. At its lowest level, the seat is 13 inches off the ground. Balder has rear wheel drive to provide a tight turning radius (30 inches). Balder is equipped with a Scielmann-Bege or Recaro seat, but most custom seats will fit the seat base. Power adjustable leg and foot rests are standard. Power seat base and seat recline are options. TOP SPEED: 6 miles per hour, 30 mile range. BATTERIES: 2 x 65 amp/12 volt. MOTORS: rear wheel direct drive, 2 x 240 watt. DIMENSIONS: overall length is 35 inches; overall width is 26.5 inches; SEAT (DxWxH) 20 x 18 x 13 to 31 inches; BACK height, 25 inches (33 inches including backrest); ARMREST height, 7 to 16 inches; FOOTREST extension, 12 to 16 inches. WHEELS: front wheels are pneumatic, made of steel, 2.5 x 3 inches; rear wheels are pneumatic, aluminum, 3 x 8 inches. FRAME: steel, 3 mm. COLORS: Burgundy, black, blue.
